How do I define a LANDING PAGE?

Sending visitors from a specific call to action (CTA) to a general homepage is like throwing away leads. Each campaign created need to have a specific landing page to capture lead information.  

Example: We are promoting a new workbook as our content offering.  We develop an email and social media campaign to drive traffic so people will download or purchase our workbook.  If we place our offer on the homepage of our website, it is not the only option for the prospect once they land.  There are menus and images and other links.  Leaving contact information in exchange for our content offering is often loss at this point.
